The lecture explored architecture as a dynamic synthesis of context, precedent, and experimentation - where ideas, place, and testing intersect to generate a coherent and transferable design methodology.

Nikoloz Japaridze is the founder and director of Architects of Invention (AI) in London and Tbilisi. He studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, later expanding his expertise at TU Delft and in Paris. His impressive international career includes key roles at KPF, EPR Architects, and as a Senior Architect at OMA Rotterdam. He is currently a PhD candidate at RMIT, a member of RIBA, and ARB registered. His notable portfolio features projects like the Prosecutor's Office, Lazika Town Hall, and Tatlin Apartments, Lisi Garden House.
