Buknari Hotel
The Project
The design of the building is influenced by its stunning views of the Black Sea. Its symmetrical, curved plan resembles a manta ray gliding through the waves, evoking a sense of elegance and movement. A grid of inverted balconies wraps around the building, forming a continuous pattern of "modular waves." The balconies on the perimeter are covered with perforated mesh, giving the building a solid appearance while still allowing views of the sea from within. The structure comprises 14 floors of apartments, a conference hall, and a ground-floor restaurant. At the rooftop, there is a sky bar and an infinity pool.
